So, i was thinking.

Because it's five a.m. and i've got to print out the fics such as they are to work on them (must... write... and... defeat... massive... i-have-no-talent-only-aptitude... writer's... block) and i'm about to go and do my ironing so i can pack, and then sleep a few hours and try not to miss my coach because that would be a bad thing. bad bad bad.

Err, anyway, I was thinking about muses, and about musefics, and then stopped off to read something on a site which mentioned being put up for a slash odyssey award, and: kablamm!

There could /so/ be a musefic awards - just think up a clever acronym, the Loose Association of Museficcing Diarists' Awards or whatever - complete with ceremony and stupid shit. I mean, think about it:

Categories: best onscreen kiss, best portrayal of denial, most machiavellian, most truly psychotic, most sickeningly cute pair, best evasion of a bunny, best interaction with writer, most truly truly painful angsting, most plausible crossover, most implausible crossover... plus the obligatory 'lifetime achievement award' for somebody random, maybe meep participators or something. And the awards ceremony could be presented by, oh, I dunno, the phs or someone if it's restricted to /fan/fic muses, or by a writer if origfic are allowed in, a writer who appears in musefic, of course. It would be like the maddest crossover ever made, you'd have rival muses up for the same award glaring at one another from their respective tables and all the Sydney muses meeting at the same time in the loos and swopping clawcare tips. It's possibly the silliest idea I've ever had, and I'm rather taken with it.
