You are Heero Yuy. You are considered the Perfect Soldier and pretty much go through with missions as you are told or instinctly act on. You appear to be stone, but deep down there are emotions that help drive your actions.
(heero, trowa, wufei, duo, quatre)
...something /very/ wrong there. oh, well.

you know what? i watch buffy (it's on tv! yay! buffy!) and, you know, get with the angst, and the cooing over Willow and Tara, and the angst and suffering and, yeah, angst. Which is /fine/.
but the, THEN i have to deal with some stupid fuck who thinks it's /clever/ to send forms as attachments of jpeg files which have to be scaled down to 25% before they're roughly A4 size - which is the size they're supposed to be, being /forms/ and all - which have been badly saved by one of my parents before they were fully downloaded onto floppy disks which they cannot tell apart, AND in windows fucking m fucking e: which lacks micro$oft photo idioter, with which i can at least resize pictures, having instead some kind of image preview thing which will either a) refuse to print or b) print as a 10pixelx10pixel /thumbnail/, and microsoft imaging editor is a /joke/ of a programme, and I end up going back to PAINT because it's the only DECENT programme that comes free with the fucking system. With my dad making what he believes to be helpful suggestions beside me. And my mum wanting to know what's going on in er when i've only watched 2 minutes of it.
my head is /splitting/.
I have realised: my hate for bad fanfiction, for fangirl twinks and people who do not realise that the arse is the body part with which one shits, and not the pleasuredome of all earthly delights unless you work /really/ hard at it is not a deep and meaningful hatred. Not when compared to the /true/ pain of having to clean up the mess of FUCKING BRAINLESS IDIOTS.

Ed: I'm not sure it says anything particularly about Ranma, really, more about Japanese society as a whole. The term okama, which we tend to translate as 'homosexual man', is also used to refer to /straight/ men who practice cross-dressing (jouso). Straight men cross-dressing is... relatively acceptable, really, all things considered, especially in order to impress the girls. Hell, a lot of j-rockers crossdress, or at least go the way of the flamboyant, with very little intimation of homosexuality. Something to do with gender being more of an issue than sexuality.
Hence my theory of Arakune as essentially straight. And, um, the root of most of my thoughts about Nuriko. And the whole 'utena is straight!' cracktheory, too...
Ignoring the whole fact that lesbians are /not/ commonly depicted in media (except the onabe, female-to-male transsexuals, and of course the actor-crossdresser otoyaku women-playing-male-roles - who are often heterosexual), that the bias in shoujo manga representations of homosexual desire is /very much/ toward shounen ai, and, in fact, 'lesbian play' (rezupurei? something.) is used to refer to cross-dressing men taking the 'femme' role while cross-dressed women act butch more than, actual, you know, lesbian, uh, play. Lesbians are even more of a 'threat' than gay men, you know.
i think i just fell in the spring of drowned girl who has read too much and the information just splurges out. Anyone got a kettle handy?
...and i should be using your comments function, but this is kinda long. And, um, i'm perverse. And i don't think you read me. ^_^
And SQUID! Come to Britain! Go to Oxford! It's /Great/! (...me biased. um. Cambridge is nice, too. even though it's in the FENS. and their Social and Political Science thing would no doubt suit you. BUT.) *lures*
