if you think that i'm nothing

11:58 pm.

i wrote a post. it mentioned the fact that i'd seen an otown video on mtv for some song which went 'baby baby baby baby' until i turned it off, and ashley was playing the guitar, and i'd thought "...don't turn into the dreadedgimp, ashley!" and then had this mental image of him knowing only three or four chords (if you count the differnce between E and Em) and writing clumsy love songs and the singing them and the blushing and the... erp. Methinks someone has corrupted me.

then my computer crashed. a sign, methinks.

i also mentioned that today had been harpy's watch scifi-ish tv day for the... half-year, or something. my thoughts:

smallville: clark kent is /such a muppet/. i can vaguely see the lex thing, methinks. but mainly clark and his muppetitude.
stargate sg-1: wow. the new series really /does/ suck. and this from a girl who /liked/ tok'ra spice. i'm sorry, but cobbling a plot together from every other episode ever does not constitute valid writing. although there were some cute jack moments. and a pretty damn good danny one. and i got to see the 'will teal'c turn into a bug?' ep again, too, so.
now and again: heee! hee hee! gosh (it's my new word! the next one will be golly!), but i'm fond of the main character. and i like the fact that all the farenheit 451 references managed to less imbue it with Deep Significance than make me take it less and less seriously.
...and then i saw some really crap apocalyptic film with Ralph Fiennes in it and thought, gee, i'm so incredibly glad for The English Patient and the fact that it stopped you from doing such sucky sucky films, Ralph.
