Time:1:29 pm.

Quantum physics, night before last:
[M2] - well, of course, some infinities are bigger than others...
[L & I] - ...some infinities' mothers are bigger than other infinities' mothers!
ahahaha. L's a darling: I wish I'd had more of a chance to talk to her. Instead of making faces at her across the table until she cracked up.

The past, um, week? in short form:
bake, clean, teaparty, tidy, sleep. play, nothing. work, relative's cremation (insert annoyance at service here), college, play, recordshopping, pub.
Plays were Cole Porter's 'Everything Goes' and Stoppard's 'Jumpers', the former a wonderful production and the latter, um, not overly impressive. Not coherent enough: I'm not convinced the play itself is all that great, but the direction made it seem as if Stoppard had no idea of how to finish the play and thought 'o well I shall go MAD instead!'. Which was fairly disappointing. Especially after 'Everything Goes', which is a thing of beauty and a joy forevah. Classic case of Romantic Hero and Female Character Part as best roles, but I've nothing against that. Trevor Nunn's direction, and the thing that struck me most was how he treated the chorus: I don't think there was a single one of them who didn't get front-stage positioning at some point. It made it more than just a large-cast production, more than just grins and jazz hands but the feeling that every actor had a character, not just a bit of dancing and a name in the programme.

In WTFF? news, Everwood exists in the UK. That's my 6pm every weekday sorted, then. (should have known to look for it on LivingTV: "women oriented entertainment", according to the google page summary; channel that shows, um, Charmed, and Will & Grace, and Queer Eye USA, and CSI; every other programme on it is about ghosts/spirits/mediums/babies. But naturally! I hear you cry.) Oh, Everwood. Your charm as yet eludes me, but give it time, give it time. Actually, just cut to the Laynie bits, aright?
